What is Mediation?
Mediation is a process whereby all parties who are in conflict or disputes come together, to talk, listen, and be heard with the help of an independent unbiased third party who is the mediator, it is a safe place to talk, where both parties can actively listen AND be heard, it encourages you to be involved in the decision-making process, and have your say in the outcome of your future and life.
There's nothing scarier and intimidating or renders you powerless than being told by a judge, who in reality, is a complete stranger to you all, and who knows nothing about you, who will read through your files, listen to both "sides" then deciding on how your life will pan out, with minimal input from you or the other parties. If you do not agree with those decisions and refuse to adhere to them, you risk more court appearances or even going to prison for failing to adhere to a decision that was made about and for you without your input or choice.
